Swan Labs exists to build software that's genuinely useful — the kind you reach for because it removes friction, not because it's fashionable. We ship focused apps — Swan Chat, School Scope, Swan Brain — each on its own subdomain with its own pricing and membership.
Swan Labs is founder-led and built directly by the people creating its products.
That means we won't pretend to be a large team, invent customer logos, or dress up concepts as finished products. When something is still coming soon, we say so. When an AI tool has limits, we explain them. We think that kind of honesty is a feature, not a weakness.

A lab, not an agency
We build and run our own apps. We're not a consultancy or a venture studio chasing concepts — we ship a small number of things and look after them.
Honest economics
Clear pricing, no artificial lock-ins, and no surprise charges. We'd rather explain a limit than hide one.
Built in Perth
Swan Labs is designed and built in Perth, with Australian context built into the products rather than bolted on.
Human responsibility
AI helps with research, drafting and routine work. People stay responsible for consequential decisions.
Built in WA
Technology should strengthen the place it comes from
Once Swan Labs is sustainably profitable, we intend to allocate 10% of profit to Western Australian community and public-interest initiatives. Allocations and outcomes will be published transparently.
To be clear about where we are today: Swan Labs is not yet profitable, no donations have been made, and no foundation exists. This is a commitment about how we intend to operate as the company succeeds — not a claim about the present.

Where this is heading
The plan is steady, not flashy: keep Swan Chat dependable, grow School Scope for WA families, and ship Swan Brain for personal knowledge — each as its own product with its own pricing.
Swan Labs is the lab behind those apps. We share engineering and design where it helps, but sign-up, billing, and support live on each app's site — not on a single umbrella membership.
We're optimistic about AI, and realistic about it. Used well, it saves people time and helps them make better decisions. That's the bar we're building to.
